Day three waiting for final transplant. May, 24.

The Fordhook Zucchini is a very common and popular variety of Cucurbita Pepo and is widely grown for its unique long, glossy dark green fruits. This variety of summer squash is a hybrid that is very easy to grow. Harvesting seeds is not recommended as seeds from hybrid plants often fail to produce with the same quality as the parent plant. This is a quick growing, high yielding plant. Fruit is best when picked at 7 to 10 inches long.

This was another failed attempt at direct sowing due to the extend cold rainy weather we had. I didn't realize it was under full shade so it's currently sitting in the original growing container in a hole in the ground to see how it will do.
